Privacy policy

This policy explains what information F & L Builder Construction, LLC (“F&L”, “we”) collects through flbuilderconstruction.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Call us at (561) 905-0739 or email flbuilderconstruction@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you ask for an estimate

Our estimate form asks for the type of project, your name, your mobile phone number and the ZIP code where the project is, and, if you choose to give them, your email address and anything else you want to tell us. If you use our Spanish page, we note that too.

When you call, email or visit

If you call or email us, or visit our showroom, we keep what you share with us, such as photos of your space, to help with your project.

When you browse the site

Like most websites, the servers that run ours receive basic technical information with every visit, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you open. Our hosting provider may keep this in its logs to keep the site running and secure.

We also use Google Analytics to see how people find and use our website: for example, how many people visit, which pages they read, how they got here, how quickly our pages load, and whether they tap our phone number or ask for an estimate. It collects information such as the pages you open, your device and browser, and your approximate location (city or region). We don’t send Google your name, phone number, email address or anything you type in the estimate form.

How we use it

• To call or email you back about your request, set up an estimate visit and prepare your estimate.
• To keep a record of our work with you.
• To keep this website working and secure.
• To understand how people use our website, so we can improve it.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t give it to other companies for their marketing.

Calls, texts and emails

When you send the estimate form, you ask us to contact you about your project at the phone number and email address you gave us. We won’t send you marketing messages unless you agree to them, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Who else handles your information

We use a few service providers to run our business. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:

• Wix.com, which hosts this website and stores estimate requests and our contact list.
• Google, which provides our email (Gmail) and website analytics (Google Analytics).
• Google Maps, for the maps on our contact page and our “Areas we serve” page (see below).

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

Cookies, analytics and maps

Apart from Google Analytics (below), our website sets one cookie of its own, called wixSession, that our website platform needs to work, for example to send the estimate form. It doesn’t track you on other websites.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies (their names start with _ga) to tell one visit from another, under Google’s privacy policy. You can block them in your browser’s settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on. The rest of the site works the same either way.

The maps on our contact page and our “Areas we serve” page come from Google Maps. When one loads, Google may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and client records as long as we need them for the reasons above, for our business records, and as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you. Call us at (561) 905-0739 or email flbuilderconstruction@gmail.com. We may need to keep records that the law requires.

Children

This website is for adults planning home projects. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and the website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No website or email system is perfectly secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
